Book Ear Wax Removal - £50

Our commitment to patient care and professionalism is what sets us apart. This targeted removal by our specialist means we can achieve the aim of restoring your hearing and keep the process pain free.

The treatment is usually painless and should improve your symptoms very quickly. Whilst some GPs may still offer these services; many don’t. So, paying for private treatment may be an option for you.

This treatment is usually quick, gentle, and painless allowing you to resume your day with clear hearing and greater comfort. The cost of the ear wax service at Grangecommunity Pharmacy is £50 for both ears. During your visit we will also check for any signs of infection in your ears.

We often get referrals from our hardworking GPs onto our pharmacist for advice and treatment. So, you may wish to save yourself a trip to the GP and come straight to the pharmacy for advice and treatment.

Different ways to remove Ear Wax

Microsuction VS Ear Syringing
Microsuction is the best choice for safe, efficient, and effective ear care. Our specialist will gently use the latest microsuction technology to remove excess wax from both your ears.
Ear Syringing is an old technique that involves pushing water through the ear canal to flush out the wax. A method that can be successful but has an increased risk of side effects and complications. Therefore, this is not a service our clinicians will provide a Grangecommunity Pharmacy.

What happens if all the Earwax cannot be removed during my first visit?

If we cannot remove all the impacted Ear wax in your initial visit, then our specialist will re-book another appointment for you after another 7 days. In these scenarios we will remove any wax in your ears on your initial visit and the remainder on your return. Rest assured; you do NOT need to pay again.

When to speak to your GP?

In some cases, we will not be able to perform wax removal and will ask for you to speak to your GP. Examples of these include if we suspect you have a perforated ear drum, any past operations in or around the ear. If you are unsure whether you will qualify do give our team a call on +44 15395 32993
