COVID-19 Vaccinations -Seasonal

The coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine offers protection against the COVID-19 virus which can cause an infection of the lungs, nose and throat (respiratory tract). The virus can potentially lead to severe and complicated health implications as the virus changes and protection fades over time, therefore booster (top-up) vaccines are currently administered twice a year via the NHS during the spring and autumn seasons to the elderly and ‘high-risk’ patients.
