Who can use the service?

In order to be eligible for this service, a person must be looking to start taking oral contraceptives (OC) or get more of their current supply. For the combined oral contraceptive patients must be in menarche up to and including 49 years of age and those on the progesterone only pill in menarche upto and including 53 years of age.

How do I access the service?

The service involves a short consultation with the pharmacist where we will discuss options available for you. In the consultation the pharmacist may need to do a blood pressure check and check your height and weight. Once the consultation is complete we can make a supply of your medication straight away without the hassle of waiting for a prescription to be approved by your GP.

Feel free to speak to one of the team and they will be happy to discuss and answer any further questions you may have.
